We have a client that has over a dozen service techs that are out on the road. They want to be able to see how many times their techs are calling in compared to how many calls are from their customers. They want it automated, they don't want to have to generate separate PDF reports and get a tally for each number, then compare that to another report showing how many calls came in total. 3CX has a CDR function that will generate CSV files, and I am sure there is software out there will parse what they're looking for, and generate a graph for them to view, but I don't have a clue what it would be called or how to configure it. Does anyone in the community have any experience with this? I appreciate any help

My first thought on this setup is that it's accuracy is dependent on knowing up front what number they're going to be calling from; so if they change their number or call from a customers phone it will skew your report. What we've done to accomplish this is have a dedicated DID for our techs to call to keep them off the main line. You could have it go to the same place, but then your reports will be auto generated and give you accurate numbers without having to keep a separate database of employee phone numbers.

They have company assigned cell phones that they will be calling in from. However dedicating one number for the techs only to call would be a much easier way to handle this.

I like vizualpro's solution (I "like" it).. But for those who need to process the CDR files automatically, you should consider our 3CX Exporter add-on which can parse the files and put the data into SQL or MySQL. If you need help with a custom report, we can help there too.
