Hi all,

I'm having a problem with a Patton Smartnode 4634. Hope someone can help me out.

We have a fairly old Samsung PBX. Recently a ISDN line card is added and 2 ISDN busses are programmed in a group (point-to-point protocol). If I dial 555 on the Samsung, all calls are routed over that group.
On the Patton the 2 ISDN busses are connected on BRI0 and BRI1. The ISDN link is up and if I do a debug on the PAtton I can see information coming in.
Only internal calls will be made from the Patton to 3CX trough the Samsung PBX. The problem is when I for instance want to call 501, I dial 555501 on the Samsung, the ISDN link LED flashes and the call goes into error.
If I connect a ISDN tester on BRI3 all is working fine.

Here are some Logs I made.
This is the one which gives an error when calling with the Samsung:

All I can see that on the firs log the calling and called parties are missing.
The tech guy from the Samsung PBX says he cannot do anything about it, all is ok according to him.

Anyone?

thanks in advance

What does the 3CX log show during the incoming call? Is 3CX outwardly rejecting the call? If you are just sending the "501" then you may have to make some changes in 3CX to work in a "bridged" mode.

I guess you need to determine if the Patton is having a problem (settings?) or if the call is being passed on to 3CX and for whatever reason it is rejecting the call. The Patton probably has logs and you can make use of and you can use Wireshark between the Patton and 3CX. Check the 3CX logs as a first step, that might save you some time.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
These logs were taken from the Patton.
Unfortunately I didn't take any logs from the 3CX PC. The 3CX PC is located at the custumer and I won't go there the coming days .

I took the Patton home with me, I will try to setup a 3CX installation at home. Since the 3CX installation at the custome was done by a collegue of mine (who is on holiday in Greece for another 2 weeks! 8) ) I have to study how to make the SIP connection.

Is there a guide somewhere how to set it up???

Thanks
