I created a hosted 3CX instance using the wizard in Google Cloud. When i go to modify the network settings under the VM instance, the VM is not listed under the account. When setting up the hosted 3cx, i was not prompted to log into my Google account.

Hello @murtj86

Did you use the free hosting option with PBX express by any chance? If so the PBX is installed our free for 1 year hosting option. Send me your FQDN into a personal message and i can tell you if the instance is installed under 3CX.

Hi. I did select the free for 1 year option. My fqdn is xxxxxx.3cx.ca

What happens at the end of the 1 year period? Can this be transitioned to a paid account or will I need to create a new hosted pbx?

From what i can see you have installed the PBX to our hosted 1 year free instance.

After the end of the year the instance will be deleted and you will need to have a backup in order to keep your configuration.
As we do not offer paid hosting you will then need to host the PBX in your own hosting environment in an instance that you control and restore your backup there.
Your free licence will be downgraded to 4 SC also after the end of the first year but will still be valid.

Is it possible to use the free for 1 year license on my own hosted account?

Yes this is possible. You can install the PBX in your own hosted account using the 1 year free licence. Please note that if you plan to do so, and use the same free licence then the existing installation must be deleted. Please send me a p.m. if you need the existing instance deleted.
