Good afternoon.
Our company uses Yealink T43U and Yealink T31P/G devices.
We have noticed that the problem is with the T43U.
It happens very rarely, but periodically (once every 3-4 days), the sound quality through the device is very poor.
The voice is either “robotic” or intermittent.
I am attaching the codec settings in 3CX, as well as on the devices themselves.
The firmware is the latest 108.87.0.16.
3CX is v20.0.7 (Build 1080 Release).

Could you advise on how best to prioritize codecs?

It depends on the provider and usually your location.
In over 90% of the world, PCMA / G.711a is the codec generally used in the respective country.

To address the issues, I would consistently use this in all areas of the 3CX: trunk provider, 3CX LAN, 3CX WAN, IP phones, DECT bases (only via parameters there), ATA ...

Has the 3CX Connection Quality Monitor been used to investigate the behavior?
