Hello,

Some users want to use a personalised greeting when they are away or don't want to be disturbed.
But they don't want to give the option to leave a voicemail.
(In our company, the use of voicemails is actually prohibited)

It seems that a personalised greeting doesn't work without voicemail.
We just want (after the greeting) to end the call, or forward it to another destination.

Is this or will this be possible?

I see two options today: (1) create an IVR for each user and instead of forwarding calls to voicemail, send to your personal IVR. The IVR would play the greeting, then hang up. (2) create a CFD/Script that recognizes from what extension the call came and play a message. The issue with both of these solutions is the inability to easily change the greeting as needed.

I think this is the best option, easy to setup and easy to update.

But you must have permissions to update IVRs... that makes it problematic for many users with insufficient permissions.
