pfSense Firewall Rules

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have an up to date guide on the pfSense firewall setup?
I have the system working at the moment however it's not "full cone" and cannot seem to get this working.
I know this is more firewall related and I am using Virtual IP addresses however I cannot seems to get to the crux of the problem.

Yes followed that guide to no avail. I am using the current version 2.4 (new GUI) and although the information is technically still applicable, the function does not seem to work.

3CX does require Full Cone NAT however, so you need a firewall that supports such:

I would guess the Firewall checker is not passing in the current state ?

I run pfsense, too, and it works fine.

go to
Firewall / NAT / Outbound >> Outbound NAT mode:
I have set it to: "Hybrid Outbound NAT rule generation. (Automatic Outbound NAT + rules below)"
so I still have the automatic rules
But you will need a manual mapping here (see screenshot). My 3CX has the LAN IP 192.168.20.11

We run PFsense on all our hosted installs without any issues.
