Phone Firmware and SBC Updates

As part of 3CX hosted, does 3CX update the firmware for connected phones or apply the updates that are available for connected SBCs?

The system I posted about that led to my question shows both their phone firmware and their SBCs have available updates so I wasnt sure when they should be updated?

Firmware updates are available in the management console once they are tested and verified from our side.
This means that you can safely use them but of course you need to manually select and update the devices.

OK, so 3CX does not apply the available updates to 3CX hosted SBCs or firmware to connected phones? In the original answer to this post it sounded like the answer was that 3CX did, but this sounds like it is up to the customer or partner to do so, is that correct?

Yes this update will not be pushed, only the PBX updates will be performed from our side.
