phone firmware is RED upgrade firmware is the same version?

Hi,

why on the phones tab the ext showing is RED. so I click on it and click on firmware upgrade and the version its showing is the same version? why is it RED and how do i get rid of it. I have tried to just hit the firmware upgrade but same thing. I have rebooted the phone same thing. what is next to try? please advise..

I see so just ignore it? do i need to do a prevision after the upgrade?

Just ignore it. It is just telling you that you are not using the default / supported firmware. If you have any issues 3CX will ask you to apply the supported firmware before trouble shooting.
We use a custom on our SNOM phones just because the default ring is deplorable but that is not supported....

The ringtone of a phone can be changed without the need for a custom template. Just do it from the phone provisioning tab.

Outdated firmware will show the Firmware version is not supported. Your screenshot shows that there is a custom template in use.

I see that now that is the case. In the past with SNOM phones this could not be changed in the web interface. Glad to see that is now the case.
