How often should a device try to register when connecting via stun. On some of our clients we are seeing several unregistered messages swiftly followed by a registered message for various extensions using fanvil phones. This only seems evident following updates to v16... we are getting some SIP registration failures but nothing thats causing a major issue right now.

How often should a device try to register when connecting via stun. This only seems evident following updates to v16... we are getting some SIP registration failures but nothing thats causing a major issue right now.

Most devices re-register every 2 minutes (based on the config template). This should not be an issue and should not interfere with phone functionality.

We are seeing some of this activity also, but the phones seem to always work just fine.

I am glad that I am not the only one. We seem to be having a trend in that it is mostly fanvils that are getting the issue... I only have 1 user so far who has mentioned dropped calls so it may be unrelated... but this certainly only seems to be an issue since the v16 upgrades.. i would love to know if more people are having the same issues.
