Hello Everyone,

we are using several 3CX instances for many customers splitted over differents cloud providers.
Because with v20, the ressources are higher, and because some cloud providers have increased their cloud ressources pricing, the consequence is that costs increased for some customers.

i'm looking for a way to have a view or report of the ressources usage of an instance during a day or week, or at least just have the peak of the last 24h for example,
my question to the round is, do you know some 3CX tips or commands to achieve this goal?

or should i just use the linux debian default commands to check machine usage?

i'm not really familiar with Linux, more a windows user.

thanks for your feed-back

Linux commands or usually, the provider's dashboard should show metrics of CPU/RAM usage.

Hello Hugo

Most cloud platforms usually have a built it feature to monitor VMs.

How are you determining what size/spec a VM will be for any particular customer in the first place?

Hi everyone, thanks for your replies.

we usually define the size based on project information, like 150 users and for example 64 Sim.Calls, and we select RAM and CPU according this(linux based).
But then many users only use the smartphone app, or only place 3 calls per day, what result on a big machine for sometimes not really a need.
Then my goals is to see how to optimize the ressource to save costs. Because cloud computing, is nice, no need to discuss about that, but it costs..... :)

I will check with cloud provider if they can provide some metrics on their side, and if not i will play with linux commands.
wish you a nice day

We use Zabbix for real-time monitoring and event notifications. It's free and opensource and works great.
