Hello,

I have a customer I set 3CX up for, four Fanvil X5 phones via SBC, that has told me that on more than one ocassion they have lost SIP registration, a call may have been dropped, and earlier today when contacting them, the call quality was choppy. The PBX is on AWS Lightsail. I'm trying to determine if network connectivity is being lost because of an issue on the PBX, or the SBC on local network...whats the best way I can determine this?

Thanks.

i like to leave a what i call a craptop onsite, a laptop i have remote access to, that i dont care if it gets lost.

i load nirsoft networklatencyview and pinginfoview and pings things like the gateway, 8.8.8.8 the sbc and the phones.

if you dont have a craptop to leave, you could ask them to leave a ping 8.8.8.8 -t > pinginfo.txt running on a work station and check it later. someone even had a powershell script that will timestamp the pings and that helps alot.

best of luck.
