Hi,

I've noticed some 3CX systems show the web client and mobile apps in the 'Phones' list whereas some don't (all Linux Debian systems). Is this a known issue or do I need to tweak something on problematic systems?

E.g. one system I can see all their office Yealink phones listed in 'Phones' but that is all, no web clients/mobile apps (despite knowing the users are connected and making calls). But then other systems (same OS, same 3CX version updates) I can see Yealinks, web clients, and mobile apps as expected.

Just trying to figure out for some customers how many of their workforce has successfully got connected remotely.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

iOS/Mac/Android/Windows apps appear when they are opened only from what I've seen. They usually appear as either Proxy or CTI Client.

As for Webclient, it shows up only in Softphone/Browser Extension mode. Not if used in CSTA mode with a deskphone.

I've done some testing and can see phone model WebRTC appears when I change the webclient's phone to Webclient so it uses audio - makes sense. When I changed it to Yealink, as guessed, the WebRTC phone model disappears in the management console Phones list.

But again, it's not consistent on another system where there's many users using the Web Client and Mobile Apps, but nothing listed. Unless they've collectively decided to take the afternoon off and switched off :p
