I'm trying to decide on a phone to use with 3CX, one problem that I can see us having is that we already send out DHCP option 66 for our workstation deployments.
We should be able to get around this if the phones we use send out DHCP option 60 (The vendor class) - my only issues is it's a bit tricky finding out which phones actually do this!!
Does anyone know which phones do send this info out? I know Cisco do, however they are a bit out of our price range, really needs to be under 100GBP (160USD).
You can find out if it sending the vendor class by using Microsoft Network Monitor (free download) and inspecting the DHCP request packets!
