pick up call not possible when "show my call" is disabled

Hi,

we would like to hide calls in the pwa panel. For that we can disable the function in extension -> view -> Show My Calls.

So if we do that it is no more possible to pick up the call by pressing a BLF key. So call pick up call should be possible
but the calls shall be hide in panel.

How can we get this? Does anyone know that?

Regarding your question, if Show My Calls is disabled, the calls will be hidden and cannot be picked up.

so when we enable the BLF keys in the client they are flashing but no reaction when we click on that if
Show my calls is disabled. By using a deskphone it is still possible to pick up the call.
Pick up calls is needed independent of the setting show my calls.

For someone to be able to pick up a call, they need to be able to see it.

If a call is not shown, other extensions are OBLIVIOUS to it ever existing, so that is why you cannot pick up the call.

the call is displayed in the BLF button. Button is flashing then

You are viewing the extensions call state. The extension cannot see the actual call details to be able to pick it up.

Check on your panel.

When an extension is in a call and you can see that call you can see the details of who the person is talking to.

But when a call is not shown you can still see the person with a yellow dot but cannot see the call details.

Same thing applies here. You can see that the extension is ringing, but since you don't have access to the call itself, you cannot pick it up

thanks i know how it works at current.

To pick up a call our customer dont need to see any details from the call. They simply just want to pick up the call, without to know what the details are. This is possible by using Snom deskphones. But not with the 3CX client today.
So this is just a point for the wishlist for future releases.

Showing the calls means that you have the access to pick it up. It is NOT just a visual aspect, so I will have to disagree that you understand how it works.

Thanks Nicholas. The Snom Deskphones works perfect with 3CX and the BLF keys picks up the call without seeing any call details in 3cx client. So we can close the case.

Our colleagues are still missing blind call pick-up.
With other pbx this works, only 3CX doesn't allow blind pick-up. :-(

We are still hoping, that this will be implemented in a further version.
