Solved Pickup Shared Park from non-IP phone

Hi,
I have a couple wireless phones connected to a Grandstream HT818.
All regular IP phones (Fanvil) have an SP1 BLF button.
What I would like to do is be able to pickup a call parked on SP1 from the non-IP phone.

Suggestions?

Just want to clarify that you can indeed use the dial code, however, the dial code is specific to Parking Orbits. This means that, to pick up a call via the Dial code, the call would have first needed to be parked that same way:

Example:

A call transferred to *00 can be picked up by calling *10. A call parked on SP1, cannot be picked up with *10 or no *1# for that matter. If the wireless phones can dial alphanumeric characters, you can give dialing SP1 a shot and see if that works.

One "trick" (that's been around for a while) that I've used, to make it easier to pick up (or park)calls when using a phone connected to an ATA, is by using dummy extensions.

Create a series of dummy extensions, something outside the "regular" range. Something like 600, 601, 602 603, etc. In the No Answer, or Phone is Busy forwarding rules of extension 600 set it to extension SP0, set 601 to SP1, etc.
Now to pick up a call on SP1, a user simply dials 601. (To park a call, you'd flash, and dial 601).

On a SIP set you'd do a blind transfer.

It's not going to work for everyone, but for a small company that has a number of analogue sets, and a few parked calls, it makes it a bit easier than dialing star codes.

dummy extensions

We've done that too, in fact, that's an easy way to get to Shared Parking on the mobile apps, vs manually dialing "SP0" (in caps). I keep forgetting that shared parking and parking are two different things.

I used 771 for SP1, that way it should be hard to forget!

Warning!

If Ext A transfer an External Call to Ext 600 that forwards to SP1, the call will be parked.
Now if Ext B transfers another External Call to Ext 600 that forward to SP1, while the first call is still there, the 2 External Callers will be connected to each other!

You can do this, but don't say we didn't warn you...
