Good day Community,

I need to be able to provide users a private pin, but that will work on any extension eg. Pin List,

In that saying, let me provide an example.

I need to use user A extension 1000's pin on any other extension if she/he needs to use that extension ,
and user B ext 1001 to use his/her pin on his own exension and on other extensions.

Please can this be clarified?

Only way I know is a work around to create outgoing routes with all pins and then stripping the pin out fo call to go through..

Might be best to implement Hot Desking in this case. Where they can log in to individual devices to make their calls.

Or alternatively, use the 3CX mobile apps where they wouldn't need to use each others phones.

The PIN protect is linked to each individual extension making the calls.

this is to view VM's , what im trying to achive is to have pin protect on my ext , but be able to use the same pin on different extensions if needed..

Unfortunately not, but the solutions I provided are the way to do it.

Also, if you assign a PIN to everyone in the outbound rules, these will show in the call history of the phone the call was made from, so it is pretty much pointless to do it that way.
