PIN security

Hi,


Anyone tried to put PIN control in one of the gateways? I'm referring to when they need to use a specific gateway they will need to have a PIN or access code. In my knowledge PIN protect will be applied on all the outgoing calls to be made by the extension. I just need a specific PIN for specific gateway. Is this possible?

there was a PIN access feature introduced in version 11 that has been mentioned in the forum. You don't say what version you are using.

An access code (a prefix to a dialled number(s) ) can be set in the outbound rules based on the number dialled and which extensions are calling it (them). Depending on your current outbound rules it can be made to apply to only one gateway, if so desired.
