Plantronics CS540 headset has been beeping every time a call comes through

We updated our Yealink T53 firmware to the latest firmware(96.86.0.74). since then, the attached Plantronics CS540 headset has been beeping everytime a call comes through(extension is member of a ring group). Even if the extension is already engaged on a call, it still beeps everytime an incomming call comes in.
The extension has "accept multiple calls" Disabled. T53's UI has "call waiting disabled"
Any thoughts?

Such issues need to be reported to Yealink directly.
