Ploycom Phone need new firmware

Hello,

I have a btrand new polycom 301 it came with old firmware that does not support NAT keep alive, and i need to have it upgraded to the latest 4.00 firmware that does have NAT keep alive. i really do not want to go to the hassel of setting up a server just to do this for 1 phone.

does anyone out there have a boot server setup that i could mail my phone to and have you let it upgrade.

I have the firmware files from polycom i just do not have the boot server.

Or does anyone want ot buy it for 65 bucks i paid over 120 for it.

I don't know anything about Polycom phones, however I found this which you might like to take a look at. Open the PDF and search for TFTP -

i do have a little tftp server but what i do not have is a DHCP server that can tell the phone where the bootp server is.

The current software does not let me set in the phone where to load the firmware image from. it has to come from the DHCP server telling it where to get it from. i am using my linksys router to do the DHCP but maybe i can find a windows DHCP server i can run on my workstation for a few mins
