Polycom 331 Issue

So i have the phone up and registering to 3CX. However, I believe I have a firmware problem with the phone in that when I pickup the phone I have no dialtone. I realize this runs locally. Likewise when I try to change the ring volume or go into settings and change the ringtone the phone just locks up tight. The bars on the screen stick and all I can do is reboot it. I went looking for the "firmware" but it doesn't appear you can get this without having some special access to the polycom site? Any help would be appreciated.

Polycom are one of the few manufacturers who dont require you to register to download firmware
