I just saw that the new v8 RC2 has the provisioning support for Polycom phones, this is good news. But more importantly, I'm interested to hear some feedback from the actual beta users about the interaction between 3CX v8 RC1 or RC2 and Polycom phones. How well is BLF implemented? Does it actually allow the other party (extensions) to see AWAY, DND and many other states that a Polycom phone can be set to? Does the Do not Disturb button work (not just on the phone itself but system-wide)?
Ohh, one more question. Is it advisable to run 3CX in a (beefy) virtual server environment? And not just for testing but for production.
