We're using (legacy) Polycom IP550 phones with V4 firmware. We have a manual process that updates the 3CX Contacts database periodically from our CRM (direct integration might come later) for CID matching.
The <mac-address>-directory..xml files for the IP550s update when the contacts directory is updated. The xml files are ~280k with ~1500 entries, which are too large for the phones.
I don't actually need the whole contacts directory in the phones, but I would like local extensions there. One solution is to overwrite the auto-generated file with a static file of local extensions only, but that's not particularly elegant. Looking for an option to filter the directory.
Any suggestions?
3CX version is 16.0.2.910
Thanks.
