Polycom Phones do not remember settings

We just had the 3CX Small Business installed, and have a minor issue.

We have 5 Polycom 550's and 3 Polycom 330's. The problem is that none of them remember user settings on restart. This includes selected ring, background, volume, etc.

This must be something to do with provisioning and not updating the server. Any ideas?

No, this is a FEATURE of the Polycoms, you have to edit the template in order to change this.

You need to set volume persistence to retain volume settings. Set the following below as their defaults are "0" (reset volume).

voice.volume.persist.handset=1
voice.volume.persist.headset=1
voice.volume.persist.handsfree=1

Thank you for that. Will this setting allow the phone to remember other user configured settings, like background?
