Hello,

I am trying to get Webmeeting working but I keep getting "Portal Not Found".

We have an active license and I've triple checked the firewall config.

I'm not sure if there is a specific log or event I should be looking for.

When I run the firewall test everything passes.

I've also restarted the server just in case that was the issue.

Not sure of next steps.

Hi,

Please let us know if everything is ok now.

No it is still not working.

I would suggest to restart all your system service now, and as soon as everything comes up again give it another go.

Your system may just need to sync up to our web meeting servers after some changes we made

I will restart after hours tonight and report back thank you.

Ok rebooting my 3cx server now brought it online thank you.

Serge.

We are also getting a portal not found message. Reboot of server did not resolve it.

Getting the following in the event log after the reboot:
"The FQDN you configured at installation time is not linked to the license key which is currently activated. As a result, video conferences cannot work. Activate the license used at FQDN creation time or re-install and use your new license key and link it to a new FQDN. "

The licence is only due for renewal in November 2020.

Just as a precaution, can you log in to your 3CX Customer portal, go to your keys, and see if there is an FQDN linked? It should be the exact same one as that in your management console.

ok, I have checked it, it is still linked. I have also confirmed it is correctly showing our public IP.

The URL still works for remote extensions and for remote webclient users

Ok, create a test meeting, and send me your link in a private conversation.

i will try to see if I can connect to it from outside

Hi

I just upgraded from previous stable v16 release to the latest stable release and then ended up in no portal found and error emails that my FQDN is not the same as during installation. I find only 2 MCU's in the list of MCU's. It is the webmeeting FQDN which is generating the complaint.

Before the upgrade i had no problem and uses webmeeting heavily every day now in corona times

Actually.....i upgraded because it did give the error of portal not found and then I ended up in the FQDN mess as well...

Hi John, I have send you a direct message with the error when I try to host a webmeeting

@per.eriksson_1

Due to some maintenance work being done, some customers may come across this.

Restarting the System Service should force it to reconnect to the new MCU servers. Can you confirm please?

No change. 2 MCUs in france is the only in the list.

aa003 and eu080

My main FQDN is linked i see in the keys page and is green on the dashboard and the FQDN to webmeeting portal is what i can see correct with the -eu.3cx.net conversion it has always had.

"The FQDN you configured at installation time is not linked to the license key which is currently activated. As a result, video conferences cannot work. Activate the license used at FQDN creation time or re-install and use your new license key and link it to a new FQDN."

Hi Per,

Thanks for confirming. Kindly send me a private message with your FQDN & Key so I can check some further details on our end.

Solved

JohnS fixed it in a blink of an eye and all is now back to normal after he changed something on his end. What i will never know :)

Glad to hear, other people affected may also need to restart their services shortly.

Some of the new MCU servers seems to be non operational rendering a "Reconnecting to media" message in webmeeting. Choose another MCU manually under Services - Conferencing until you find one that is working

A massive work in progress at 3cx and we out here hope it stabilizes soon :)

Am having same issue here "portal not found" i have restarted the services but still not working. @ John S. I hope you could help me out here as well. it has always been working okay
