Possibility of changing status using time recording application?

Firstly: I am posting here as I have "INSUFFICIENT PRIVILEGES TO POST THREADS HERE." (Integrations category)

We are searching for the possibility of changing the users status depending of his/her "time recording" application status.For instance:Users time recording status is set to "Homeoffice" => 3CX automatically swichtes him/her to the "available"-state.
Is there already an interface/API for changing the status of a user available?

Would be nice.

If i understand correctly you will integrate 3CX with a 3rd party in order to change status of the extension?
If so this is not something that we support.

Thank you "VoIP Tools" for your info.
As a long-time customer we have seen that 3CX changes their mind far too often for instance with clients (different 3CX-persons advice against the desktop app and recommend the PWA - the next big thing 2024 is now the desktop app....)
So we maybe get additional troubles with a foreign API and another foreign timerecordingvendor with every Update/Upgrade of one of the 3 involved products.

I suppose there is always a slight risk of 3CX breaking our code, but we have been doing this for 15+ years and thus far we have always been able to make things work after a 3CX change. True, it might take a couple of weeks (on occasion) to get all our tools tested after a new 3CX release, but then I typically suggest people wait that long after a new release anyway.

Continuing with your theme, you are between a "rock and a hard place". There is no way to do it without a 3rd-party tool. So, you have a choice -- have the feature you need, or no.
