Hello all,

We have 3 systems up-and-running, all updated to the latest version (not beta's).
Belgium - Netherlands - Germany
They are bridged.

Since the last update, I lost the Presence Information from our installation in The Netherlands.
Nothing changed, all settings are OK (same as Germany)
Also The Netherlands cannot see Belgium.

From Germany we can see the Presence information in Belgium and in The Netherlands.
In Belgium and the Netherlands we can see information from Germany.

We can call the no-presence users over the Bridge
Another strange thing: in the Receptionist-view, the name of the person (taken from the other installation) is shown.

Port 5001 is not blocked.
I tried info over FQDN and IP, none worked.

Any other ideas ?
(it's since the last update)

Greetzzz,
Jochen

Hi - All of the systems should be accessible via secure FQDN and configured as such in their Bridge configuration. If one of them has an IP in the configuration or does not have a fully qualified FQDN it will not work. Previously this was not required...

In Belgium:
- Bridge (master) to Germany on IP
- Presence on IP
- Bridge (master) to The Netherlands on IP
- Presence on IP

In The Netherlands
- Bridge (slave) to Belgium on IP
- Presence on IP
- Bridge (master) to Germany on IP
- Presence on IP

In Germany
- Bridge (slave) to Belgium on IP
- Presence on IP
- Bridge (slave) to The Netherlands on IP
- Presence on IP

(same as Belgium: Germany does not see The Netherlands)

Just received mails with message New 18.0 Update 8 Final (18.0.8.917) is ready to install (on all 3 installations)

Hi @M.Ex.T. when using bridges check that both PBX are running the same version, in this scenario both must be running version 18.0.8.917

On the pbx Receiving presence you have to enter the FQDN and HTTPS port, do not configured it using IP address

For example:

One last thing, validate that the HTTPS port is open in the firewall that is in front of each pbx, presence information uses this port, by default is 5001 unless you changed during the installation. You may check the port with ping.eu to validate the https is open correctly.

Once done give it a try ;)

All 3 are running latest version, Presence is set to FQDN, but no luck.

All 3 are connected to each other by MPLS-connection, so other subnets, but locally pingable (we do not have to go to the internet to connect to another instance).

The German-installation is showing Presence-information
The Netherlands-installation is configured in 100% same setup (other FQDN/IP)

Must be something "Windows" I think because it is a result of updates that were installed.
(updates Windows + 3CX)

Thank you for thinking with me !!

Update !!
One the guys entered wrong data in the (Windows) hosts-file !
Removed the entry => issue solved
