Hi everyone,
I'm currently stuck with the 3CX/Teams Presence Sync configuration and keep running into a logical loop for which I haven't found a clean solution yet. The issue occurs when the Teams status is set to "Busy" prior to a call.
The Scenario (Step by step):
Because it is set to Do not sync (or alternatively DND), the PBX doesn't receive a new trigger after hanging up and simply stays in DND.
- Is there an official best practice to resolve this sync loop that I am missing, without touching any other statuses?
- Are there any plans to allow mapping "Busy" (Teams) to "Available" (3CX) in a future update (losing the initial idea of "busy"?
Thanks in advance for your input!
Best regards
Markus

The Scenario (Step by step):
- My status in Teams is Busy (e.g., due to a calendar event).
- My status in 3CX is Available.
- I receive a call via 3CX and answer it.
- Teams automatically changes its status to In a call.
- My "Teams to 3CX" rule kicks in: In a call triggers the Do Not Disturb profile in 3CX (which is exactly what I want, to avoid being interrupted by 3CX calls during Teams meetings).
- I end the call. Teams correctly reverts to its previous status: Busy.
Because it is set to Do not sync (or alternatively DND), the PBX doesn't receive a new trigger after hanging up and simply stays in DND.
