Hello, is it possible to prevent external callers from dialing lets say extension 123 when they call into the digital reception but internal users/extensions should still be able to call 123.

Is this regarding calls to the IVR?
Are you in V18?

Yes it is V18.

So lets say i call in to the main trunk number. I get options to press numbers 1-6 which will direct the caller to certain call queues, but the caller also has the option to directly dial extensions. There is one extension on the system which is a pager unit. I just don't want the external callers to be able to dial that pager unit extension number and page the whole warehouse. Only want internal extensions to be able to call to that pager unit extension. The pager is a snom pa1.

In the IVR change the type to DTMF to avoid this situation.

I think you can set this up through the number restriction feature. It is necessary to write a rule that allows access to number 123 only to internal subscribers, and blocks it for external callers.

Except from this you can also use exceptions in the extension level depending on your needs.
