Does anyone know if there is a way to prevent a group of users from calling a group of different users within the same 3CX system.
Also is there a way to prevent them from seeing each other in de Myphone app.

We need this for an setup where a part of the system is temporary made available for a external group of users.
similar to using a Vlan in an netwerk.

You can use extension groups and choose to hide members of other extension groups from one another. I think you can also use outbound rules to restrict calls between extensions

Might also help if you can put the different user groups in different extension number ranges e.g. first group are all 2xx extensions, and second group is all 3xx (or 21xx and 22xx if you have 4 digit extn' numbers) - then you can create an outbound rule that blocks any of the first group calling a 3 digit number starting 3 (or a 4 digit number starting 22), and blocks any member of the second group calling a 3 digit number starting with 2 (or a 4 digit number starting 21) ...

This can make it real-easy to set up & maintain the outbound rules ...

[This is where a 4 digit dial-plan would be useful if you have it, but if you don't, you'll have to do something with the 3 digits ...]

I hope that's helpful ...
