Solved Preventing receiving calls from external

Hi All

What is the best way to use exceptions under call forwarding so that external callers are dropped and internal or selected extensions can get through?

I have an ext that only a few ext's need to be able to call.

Ok, I set up a ring group and added this ext to it.

exception 1

calls from [extension(s) whitelist] -> ring group

Expt 2

calls from * -> End

This is working fine.

is this the recommended way or is there an easier way?

I did try sending the call to its own ext but it said it didnt exist.

Ok I think what ive said is the best way and it does what i want.
