Hi Guys,
We were looking at swapping off our Current PRI lines onto SIP trunks instead, but it looks like our contract goes on longer than we though, so we're not near the end with the PRI's, and a really low deal on bundled internet cannot be kept if we swap.
Long story short? it would be like $900 a month to swap to SIP because the internet cost (even rebundled and speed lowered) would go up so much.
So, I'm trying to look at what I believe are Gateways. We only need like 12 channels to maintain our current level of service (though we dont have usage stats on that with this old PBX we're moving off of). Which I believe means we just need the 1 connection (T1?) in.
I saw these https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/ but I'm not sure which ones would be needed or which ones are overkill. Some of these pattons I'm looking up are like $3000 at least just by themselves. Still less than what we would have in additional internet costs over a year but I was wondering what you all recommend for these and if you have a recommendation of a lower-level one that might be good enough for the pretty basic needs our company has
