Hello,

Does anyone know if 3CX can prioritize an extension so it will be able to make outbound calls if the license limit is reached? If the license limit is approaching and several extensions try to call out at the same time, is there a way to allow one extension over another? My understanding is this is first come first serve.

Secondly, is there a way to "reserve" the license to hold some for inbound or outbound calls?

Once you reach the licence limit...that's it, unless it is an emergency call. You can't have some extensions override the limit. You can put a limit on the number of calls on a trunk group, but that doesn't account for internal calls, which you can't restrict.

Hi Justin
IMO , If you receive often notifications 'limit is reached" then you should seriously think to upgrade 3CX license instead of searching a workaround.

Thanks everyone. This is actually just a question for a possible client.
