Hi all,

This is a new setup. Everything is working, I can get inbound call from the SPA-3102 which has a FXO connected to the tel provider. Calls come in and ring where they are suppose to.

My problem is calling outbound.

Any extension trying to make an outbound call gets Not Found.
I went through the docs several times to make sure I did not forget something, and I did not, at least I dont see where.

under PSTN devices, I have my Linksys SPA-3102 with IP 192.168.1.99 which is the WAN port of that gateway.
10001 is the auth user and pass as configured in the 3CX and SPA

In outbound rules I have leading Prefix 8 (wondering if I can set thjis up so I dont have to dial 8 to make an outbound call?!?)
Calls from Ext 201-204, and calls to numbers with lenght 10,11 digits long (for North America), and strip 1 digit in the route.

What am I missing?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The SPA 3102 needs to be configured for port 5061 in the "PSTN Line" tab - 5060 is for the "Line 1" tab.
3CX should be configured with the SPA 3102 on port 5061

ok, that worked ! Thanks alot !

The other thing is is it possible that the users not require to dial 8?
the only dial plan i need is:

819-xxx-xxxx
613-xxx-xxxx
and 1-xxx-xxxxxxx

everyother should be blocked.

thanks

In yor outbound call rules you can set up 3 rules. One for long distance: number starts with 1, 11 digits long, strip nothing, prepend nothing.

Two rules for local calls: 819 and 613, 10 digits long, stip nothing, prepend nothing. if calls start with anything other than 1,819 or 613,(or local extentions) they will be blocked. You will have to build outbound rulles for 911,411 etc if you want those soer of calls to go through, same for 800,866,888. You also have the ability to set up a dial plan in the FXS part of the 3102 if you are using that as your telephone ATA, have a look at the Linksys manual or search the web for info on how to craft a dialplan for that device. It will "prescreen" any dialed numbers before thet are sent to 3CX.
