Problem with outbound calls (directory selection)

Hi,

A colleague of mine has been having issues selecting options in telephone directory/menus when on an outbound call. It would appear his device does not always activate a tone sound when a digit is pressed. Would this be an application issue and if so how can it be fixed?

First check if this extension can use DTMF when browsing menus such as the voicemail.

If yes, then check if it works when dialling another external number.

If yes, then the number you are dialing without success may be using an old telephone system.

otherwise, run a wireshark and check if DTMF is being picked up.
