Provider 'A1' in Austria

Dear 3CX Team,
the ISDN system is shutted down here in Austria and we all get VoIP trunks. I have two 3CX installations and I can't change the provider, I am fixed to 'A1'. I can't find any setting guideelines and all I tried fails.
I urgently need help now.

Hi Gerhard,

Not sure what you mean by fixed to A1. You need to a new trunk using the "Add SIP trunk" button. You can chose a provider from AT or Worldwide or even a Generic one.

Hi,
we run a medical center in Austria and there exists some health care service over internet. This service is totaly closed, only few institutions have acces and we have to use exactly this service, no alternatives possible. This accsess is provided by some selected providers and this providers also provide you with internet, but very restricted and phone. Now all providers in Austria shutting down the ISDN service and changed to VoiP over exactly this restricted lines.
So I am fixed to this provider. And we have the same phone number for the last 40 years or so, we don't want to change this number.

We use a mobile internet connection to have remote service (which isn't allowed by the health services provider) to overcome this problems, but we only have the chance to find out, how we can use 3CX with A1 or dump 3CX and use the PBX from A1 which costs 9.9€ for each inteernal phone (not line) .... we have a lot of this.

As A1 is the biggest provider here in Austria, I am very astonished, that there is no profile in 3CX.

We only have three providers listed by 3CX in Austria, no one can provide the needed health services.

This is the story behind the word 'fixed'.

You can still use them by adding them using the Generic provider but it will not be supported by 3CX and the service has never been tested so you may need to some manual adjustments to the configuration. If you are willing to go down that route then ask A1 for details on how their trunks work. They should be able to guide you through the basic configuration.

I know, and that is the reason why I asked here, cause A1 is that big, can't belive there is no one tried before.

soweit ich informiert bin, verfügt A1 über ein 3CX Template, welches Kunden bereitgestellt wird... Frag mal A1.
Du kannst auch mit deinem 3CX Partner Kontakt aufnehmen (er kennt sich mit Trunks aus - siehe Supportete Provider AT).

Mein 3CX Partner ist netplanet, einer Eurer unterstützten Provider, der wird mir wohl nicht helfen wollen. Darum wollte ich schon den Partner wechseln, aber ... das andere Unternehmen hat 3CX aufgegeben ... es ist nicht leicht mit 3Cx.
