HI There,

We have 3cx Cloud running hosted by 3cx, and 8 yealink T28p handsets in our office, whats the best way to provision these handsets to connect to 3cx cloud and do we need to open any ports on our office firewall?

Thanks,

Three options

Option 1.

Use a SBC server and setup the phones to use the SBC server - overcomes all the nat issues with the firewalls.

Option 2.

Configure the phones using STUN, where you have to

Give each phone a local fixed IP address
Have different SIP ports
Have different RTP Ports

On the local firewall, you need to configure portforwarding using the correct ports to the correct internal IP address

Option 3.

Configure a site to site vpn, and setup the phones as local.
