Greetings all,

When creating new extensions, we see that the Provisioning Links that are created for the 3CX APP and Deskphones default to http://192.168.10.10/provisioning/blahblahblah rather than http://hostname.domain.com/provisioning/blahblahblah. This becomes an issue when users try to register their smartphone apps with the QR Code. To fix it, we would have to go into their extension, and change the Interface to the FQDN option. Is there a way to default new extension to the FQDN rather than the IP address?

I think there is not way to default the server address to fqdn

Hello @TPR3CX

Please note that if you selected the phones to be provisioned as local lan then the provisioning link will contain the local IP of the PBX. If you however select to provision the phone using STUN or SBC the provisioning link will change to the FQDN.
Regarding the QR code, that depends on how you access the management console. If the management console (or webclient) is accessed using the local IP address then the QR code will point to the local IP address. If the management console (or webclient) is accessed via the FQDN then the QR code will point to the FQDN.
