Is it possible to use something like this with 3cx?

Yes, built-in 3CX server commercial editions -- works with Skype versions prior 5.3.

The topic is discussed multiple times in the forum.

It depends on what you expect this to do. This device is intended to allow a regular analogue set to take either PSTN calls or Skype calls. The Skype calls come via USB from a separate PC. The only thing that would link to 3CX is the PSTN through an ATA. Or you could feed the Skype and PSTN line back through a gateway into 3CX.

So, it would accomplish nothing more than running the Skype Gateway on the 3CX PC. In fact, if used as in the first example, it would limit Skype calls to the one extension rather than allowing access to any extension the way the gateway does.

If you use 3CX and the Skype gateway, you don't need this.
