PUSH sender ID: 50020 - Failed to send FCM PUSH to device Google Pixel 3 XL

Hi guys,

Our management console are error log when got incoming call :

Failed to send FCM PUSH to device Google Pixel 3 XL(Ext.100). Internal exception occured: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
PUSH sender ID: 50020 06/07/2021 x:xx:xx PM

Outgoing call works fine. Incoming call cannot push 3CX andriod client.

Thank you any advice.

  • 3CX Version, Standard Annual 16.0.8.9
  • Server OS, Debian_9_08_64
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? Aliyun (China location)
  • IP Phone : Google Pixel 3 XL , with andriod 3CX client Version 16.7.6.105
  • Provisioning Method: STUN
  • Trunk Provider : HK
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

3CX uses the standard Google PUSH servers. We have found that in China due to network restrictions that exist, sometimes PUSH may not work, so it is a bit hard to troubleshoot in this case.

The first thing you can do is make sure you have the "Automatic Updates" enabled because this also installs Debian OS updates as well:

If it wasn't enabled, enable it and leave it for at least 24 hours so that any OS updates are installed.

If that still doesn't make the Android work, what I would suggest it making a Packet Capture on your 3CX system while attempting to make a call to an Extension that has a Android device registered.
Once you make the call, you will the PBX trying to make a TCP connection to Google IP (unfortunately IPs are not listed somewhere) with destination port 443.
Try to see if this connection is terminated by the PBX or by the remote party.
