We're currently upgrading our computers to Windows 11. We're having recurring problems with the web client/PWA. It's always shown as offline in the 3cx server, even though the client is online and I can make outgoing calls. The following entry appears in the browser console:

We're using Microsoft Edge as our browser. I hope someone can tell me which setting in Edge is responsible for this. I don't think this is a problem with the 3cx server!

Here some steps to check:

-Check Browser Notification Permissions:
In Edge, click on the lock icon (or information icon) in the address bar of the webpage.
Ensure that the "Notifications" permission is set to "Allow". If it is set to "Block", then change it to "Allow".

-Check Operating System Level Permissions for Notifications:
On Windows 11, go to Settings > System > Notifications & actions.
Make sure that notifications are enabled for the system and for the Edge browser.

-Check Site Settings in Edge:
In Edge, go to Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Notifications.
Under "Allow", check if the website is listed. If it is under "Block", remove it and try again.

-Check for Browser Restrictions:
Some group policies or enterprise settings might block notifications. Check if there are any such restrictions.

Okay, thanks. In Windows, the affected colleagues had their notifications completely disabled. This wasn't visible in Edge, because notifications are enabled for 3cx there by policy. On a PC without a policy, Edge also shows that notifications are disabled. We'll probably use a policy to prevent users from disabling notifications at the Windows level.
