FYI silent mode is also available from the app icon on the home screen on a long press!
Thank you very muchWe will add tags.. noted.. Like this you will see the bridge name as a tag next to the contact name..
On my Pixel 2, 3cx app version 16.1.0.41, the app rings when the extension or DID is called, but there's no way to answer the call. If we press the receiver icon, it just calls the last number dialed.
Thanks. Any idea on time frames?
I will be recommending to my customers to not upgrade there apps untill this is fixed. Is there a way i can get the old app back on my phone and any of my customers phones that have already updated theres?
I feel this issue outweighs any of the other new features you have added.
You are getting support as if we/I did not mention the issues/problems then we would all end up with very upset customers.Voicemail is done.. So we will download and play them with the google player.
BUT this recommending or not to customers comments and BS is tragic coming from a Silver partners.
I expect more support and more credibility from any partner level.
Thanks for the update
Re voicemail we are not ready yet from it. I agree.
.On my Pixel 2 Android version 10, 3cx app version 16.1.0.41, the app rings when the extension or DID is called, but there's no way to answer the call. If we press the receiver icon, it just calls the last number dialed.
We can hear the ringing, but nothing pops up to allow the call to be answered and if we manually go the the 3cx app., there's no way we can see to answer the call.
Thanks for the update! As a word fo advice, even if the change is detrimental, these kinds of details need to be spelled out in the release notes so your partners can stay ahead of the wave of customers with questions.
Have you checked if Push notifications for the current status are enabled?Hi Guys,
not sure what i've done but our 3cx Android app (16.1.0.41) will not ring when receiving calls. But, can dial out. iOS app works fine.
Our phone system is 16.0.676.
What have I broken?
I also have a Pixel 2, running Android 10.
This quote is correct in that the 3CX app itself does not allow you to answer an incoming call, you can see in screenshot 1 that the app isn't actually recognising the inbound call.
However, you can answer the call from the notifications (see screenshot 2).
Hope this helps with debugging.

Other than NOT playing the voicemail directly (users hate the new way) the app is pretty good.
HOWEVER, it no longer shows which Account you are using on the screen.. This is Critical for those of us that have to use several accounts. We need to know "who we are" on the MAIN screen.
Having to jump into Account selection to check it is a big problem.View attachment 12591.
Do you have a specific due date for this? Because we also heavily depend on the groupings we made in the Admin Centre. We will add tags.. noted.. Like this you will see the bridge name as a tag next to the contact name..
Red is too bright agreed.Just not in red? And maybe a bit smaller. I like tho! iOS should be like that too.
Your steps to deactivate push are not working. When I try to uncheck the option for push for any status, it says applying changes but doesn't uncheck. Push is still active.
Long press the active account? where are the screen in the active account I am supposed to long press?
WTF happened to listening to voicemails? WTF is there a voicemail area when all the new app does direct you to the VMbox intro menu. It should play the VM the play button was in the row with. This needs to be fixed.
How the heck do I stop my phone from receiving calls when I don't want it to. The exit ignore push should have never been removed. Its much faster to click the menu and select Exit ignore push then it is to bury the option to enable/disable push in a status option that doesn't even work.
My users don't have empathy for me when the app is redesigned and there isn't a good explanation about how the new layout works vs the old "legacy" app. It would be cool to give the user a tiny tutorial when the app is opened for the 1st time to explain where thing are.
I heard everything I needed to hear. Thanks for the quick response.
Personally, I think the new app requires to many click now to deactivate the account. My users forget to switch DND on/off so status changes aren't a good solution. Silence isn't going to work either because the app is still being used. Deactivating the phone app is the only good way to stop the app, or in legacy was exit ignore push.
Can you please share the link to where someone can sign up for newsletter blasts?
