Hi, I've got a client who is reporting a problem,
they tell me - some of their external caller/clients - ring their office number - and complain they get a message telling them "Inbox is full" and then the call hangs up
I cannot replicate this, all my test calls to the DID / office / 3cx > seem to work fine
it seems to be intermittent, ie, not a lot of calls get this, more like "has happened at least 3 times in the last 6 months" kind of thing. ie, kind of awful to debug.
I don't have any actual solid examples, they can't tell me a precise time-date-caller# for debug purposes.
I've asked them to try to gather such info if this happens again.
In the meantime I wanted to ask - if this sounds familiar to anyone, or if there is a known flow / situation / where this could possibly happen?
I'm also trying to chase if the SIP trunk carrier might be the source of the issue. But normally if the 3cx instance is offline/down/inaccessible -I am pretty sure the caller gets no actual voice message of any kind. So. A bit of a mystery.
In this case client is running on v.20.latest (ie, currently sitting on > Version 20.0 Update 3 (Build 806 Release) of 3cx. I've got about a ~dozen clients on this same hosting platform environment (OVH Montreal data centre) and none of my other clients have reported anything similar. ie, I am pretty confident my VM hosting is solid / server / network is solid etc.
thank you,
Tim
