Hi,

I hope this is the right place for my question...

So I have a self hosted 3cx in my home lab with a xyz.my3cx.de FQDN. At some point in the past, I changed the config *somewhere* in order to have the web client show up under 3cx.example.com - due to my then network setup. This is shown under User > General. It seems that this is also reflected in the QR code for provisioning the mobile app. Which was fine at the time

Due to changes to my network setup this is no longer appropriate and I would like to change the URL for the web app and for the QR code. But for the life of me, I can't find the place to change this again.

Can someone help me out, please?

Thanks!

Hmm, I might be better off then just reinstalling the whole thing...

This sounds like the Welcome Email template has been modified. Have you checked if there are any changes there?

Okay, and how can I check whether this has been modified? I mean, how do I know how it should look like? Is there a "clean" version of this file somewhere?

Anyway, I searched the mail template for the occurrance of "example.com" (i.e. my domain) but it does not show up in there.

So, are there any other places where a change could have the described effect?

Thanks!

You have mentioned that " I changed the config *somewhere* in order to have the web client show up under 3cx.example.com"
This also means that you have changed some of the 3CX Parameters. Maybe you need to sewach there.

What I meant is that I *must* have changed the config (but I don't remember when and where).

So I was hoping that someone could tell me where one would change the config in order to achieve that kind of change (so that I can then search there).

Sorry for not being clear.

@MucCX Look for a parameter with "_CUSTOM" in the name, and delete that custom one to revert to the default. MAILTEMPLATE_EXTWELCOME_DEFAULT is the default one for the welcome email but there are parameters for that email in various languages.

Hard to see how it would be working without a custom SSL cert though, since the clients and apps would flag the mismatch on the name. Are you sure you didn't specify the custom FQDN during installation?
