I have a client that has 3CX version 18. They have an employee going home to Egypt for a month, and the owner wants to be able to call him.

Do I need to allow calls from Egypt?

I'm only asking as my client base is mostly US based.

I am assuming the employee will be using the 3CX app, in which case calls are all over internet and not the pstn, so no changes needed.

You only need to allow calls to Egypt in 3CX to make outbound calls to numbers in Egypt. You do not need to check this box to recieve them.

Note you may need to make adjustments in your SIP Trunk to call/recieve.

Hi @FuTech-Nel

If the owner will be calling the employee on their extension directly there is no need to allow calls from Egypt.
