Question on iOS mobile client related to upgrading from v18 to v20

I’ve not been able to tell – are there new versions of the iOS mobile app for v20? In general, do these apps automatically update on the mobile device or is there a manual update that’s required? If there is a new version of the mobile app for v20, is it backward compatible with a 3CX v18u8/9a system?

It updates through the App Store. There's backwards compatibility for a while but eventually support for older servers ends. I don't see notes about that in the change log so it may be noted in the 3CX blog about the app updates. I seem to recall it being noted at some point.
