Question re: Update to 15.5

I'm currently running 15.0.6 If I update to 15.5, will it also update/import the existing updates? I won't want to update firmware or templates at this time, but there is a feature mentioned in 15.5 that would make my life a lot easier, and potentially could allow me to use the stock templates (at least for 1 of my phones).

No you will still need to install the templates, however these require no downtime and can be done on the fly.
