I am looking at upgrading free edition to small business edition.

The limitation of 25 extensions has me a little worried.

Does the limit of 25 only apply to actual "Extensions" only or does it apply to the total of "Extensions" + "Ring Groups" + "Digital Receptionists"??

The reason I ask is that I already have 16 "Extensions", 6 Ring groups, and 7 "Digital Receptionists" for a total of 29.

Thanks again

Backup your database! :)

3CX PBX has strict definitions of each object in the system(at least for now ;) ). So extension is extension, ring group is a ring group, DR is DR. No restrictions are applied to groups and DRs.

Thanks Sy

Thanks Sy,

I guess I better do this on a weekend

hehe don't worry my paranoia is unlimited as are the number of backups involved with my systems.

Remember...Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they are not out to get you. 8)

Just remember that the backups do not include:
VM greetings
Saved VMs
License info - you have to re-enter the license key

The 1st two can be backed up manualy using a file copy of the voicemail folder under IVR.

And they are out to get you... you just won't know when :)
