Random caller ID

Dear Support,
We have 1 quistion regarding trunk: we have 1 trunk with 5 DID numbers

Is it possible to make outbound call to have random caller ID, selected from than DID numbers

Only possible option we found is to set in extention options a caller id, but this is not the way we want to use it

We need every one who calls outside to use that trunk and have random caller id (which we re provided by ISP)

If your provider supports flexble CLI/Spoofing then this is possible yes. What I would say is that in my experience most reputable providers are starting to remove these types of features as they can be used for fraud and nuisance calling.

3CX does not currently have the ability to do what you want, and I'm not sure that it will ever have the ability to send a "random" number.

This is one of the longer running threads (5 years) regarding the ability to change caller ID, on a per call basis...

I have seen some mention, on the forum, of add-ons being offered by other companies. The random part still might be a sticking point.

There are only 3 ways you can control your outbound caller ID. (1) based on the default caller ID defined on a trunk, (2) the caller ID specified for the extension, and (3) the caller ID for emergency numbers.

We have a tool that makes it easy to change your personal caller ID, but it doesn't randomize the numbers with each call, although that might be possible to add. 3CX Caller ID
