Random Ringtone volume issue

Hi team,

one of our client is having an issue with yealink T54W after update to 96.86.0.5,
1) Ringtone automatically got change to even default Ring 1 was already selected ( we have manage to solved this issue )
2) Ringtone Volume keeps changing Randomly for some calls it very low and for some calls it is very High , Default value set is Level 3.

Please find the details

Even increasing the Ringtone volume from 0 to 1 bar ( Pressing + button once) , the ringtone sound loud. whenever the call comes in.

WE have made the changes on cfg file on phone "voice.ring_vol = 4" , but didn't find any result,

• 3CX Version, e.g. Professional Annual 16.0.2.910
• Server OS, e.g. Debian 9
• Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? Amazone Light sail
• IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware : Yealink / T54W / 96.86.0.5
• Provisioning Method: SBC
• Trunk Provider : Local
• Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
• Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

Are you talking about the sound coming out of the physical device or are you using a headset with it?

we also did "force.voice.ring_vol = 4" ; but it didn't made much difference

Please ensure you do the following:

1. You need to update the PBX to the latest version, the version you mentioned was the example version we provide.
2. Ensure you're not using custom templates, don't change any fields such as force.voice.ring_vol = 4, it won't be necessary if the phone is set up correctly.
3. Factory reset your phone, after the PBX update. Provision the phone automatically via the SBC, don't copy anything manually.

I've tested this and it works perfectly without changing any of the settings, even after a reboot.

This is corrected in a new yealink firmware T54W(T57W,T53W,T53,T53C)-96.86.0.15.rom

@VasilisV_3CX can you make sure this firmware gets pushed to 3cx systems ?
