Hi All,

We need to configure and deploy an SBC for a new installation that will have 32 extensions, 16 SIMs, and around 200 BLFs.

We're finding that the 4GB/8GB Raspberry Pis are completely unavailable. We do have a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ unit with 1 GB of RAM, though. Should we not even attempt to run that as an SBC for the above config, or am I being paranoid?

Thanks, in advance,

Russell Hopkinson

They list a Pi 4: https://www.3cx.com/docs/recommended-hardware-specifications-for-3cx/. Older 3's still work if in service, but aren't upgraded to Debian 10...not sure if it's possible to install on a 3 still or if you can(/will need to) find an old installer.

Can you create a VM for it? Can always replace with a Pi later, using the same IP...

Thanks for the info. We're going to deploy a low-end desktop PC for now and will replace with something more appropriately sized later.
